En las escaleras
de bajada a la nueva zona ajardinada del Puente Nuevo, se ha instalado una
barandilla de madera, compuesta de rollizos de este material natural, tratados
en autoclave: un tratamiento preventivo y curativo de la madera al intemperie
para darle una prolongación y durabilidad, con sales de cobre a través del
sistema Bethell. Tras cimentar los tres barrotes de madera verticales a la medida de separación adecuada, se han insertado los horizontales. Y por último, se han lijado todos los listones.
